You are Never Alone

Here I am with another one of my sister's (Danielle Donaldson) new stamp sets. This one is called Blossom no. 2, check it out here. I loosely colored it with my Copic markers, creating a watercolor affect rather than the standard blended look that is usually done. I cut them out with my Scan n' Cut, at least the outside edges. I had to cut out those little nooks on the inside with my exacto, it wasn't tough at all though. The background is created with a stencil and jumbo flat brush, I graduated the color slightly to point the eye toward the focal point. The greeting is from  a set called Have Faith from Gina K. Designs. I've tried out a new black ink to work with my Copics, it's called Finesse by Spectrum Noir. It works really well with the markers, my only complaint is that the pad seems to be a little dry for a brand new pad. We'll see how it goes for the next while. Sometimes it just needs to sit upside down for a while to distribute the ink to the top of the pad. I'll be adding this to the challenge over at Fusion, the them is ombre.

It's good to never be alone,
Alicia
