Sending You Hugs and a Favorite Product

Dies, dies, DIES. I am in love with them. They are so darned expensive, right? But there are just a few that are worth the money. Once in a while I will share with you some products that I own that I believe are worth every penny that you spend on them. Today it's this set of rectangle dies with the scallop on the inside. A little different then what you may be used to. Generally we see plenty of squares, rectangles and circles with the scallops on the outside (I'll show those in another post). These are unique and super interesting to work with.

The die is called Inside Scalloped Rectangle by Craftin Desert Divas.

The first card shows you the rectangle in its general form, how it simply comes out of the die machine. I used the negative inside piece of card stock (when cut from white) and stamped it with a striped background stamp to create the inside of the frame.

The next card shows a little versatility. I cut the die out of the center of an appropriately sized piece of white card stock to layer on the front of a card. Next I replaced the scalloped frame in the center to make it look like one continuous piece. So this die does double duty. I've done several other cool things with it, they will come and go on the blog.
