Fern Leaf Card

Update: How exciting! The card was and honorable mention for the challenge.

This card didn't really start out as a masculine birthday card, but I am pleasantly surprised that it did. I found this stamp set from Altenew and I just love it. It's called Wild Fern and it's a layering stamp set.
Here's the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches #377:


Some sketch challenges are more difficult than others, this one felt odd to me. Yet when I finally sat down and worked with it for a bit this card came pretty naturally to me. the hardest part was working the square in. After I finally got that figured out, it came together quickly,
