Desk Scraps and Strange Color Combos

On my desk I had this saying that wasn't used for another project. I was really attached to it for some reason, so I hadn't thown it away. Today I found it rather inspiring. I had this flower set sitting on my desk, decided to run with the colors. So I found myself ok with the teal and black. Then I colored the stem with an artichoke green. I pulled out a piece of the green and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked together. When I was creating for Stampin' Up! I was kinda a rebel when it came to the colors I chose. Sometimes they told me no. What do you think of this color combo?
