Shine Like the Universe

The colors seem to lend themselves to these awesome marbling patterns. Not necessarily and obvious choice, but cool. First of all I cut each color into squares, then punched a circle out of the center of each. Finally placed another color into the center of each. It makes for some fun play for the eye. I think the greeting works so well with this playful seen, while it seems so ethereal. Read it below and see if you agree. Another card for the MFT Color Challenge. Are you bored of them yet?

Shine on,
Alicia

A Bright and Happy Hello

I've just had a couple more ideas with regards to the MFT color palette. This one combines two Stampin' Up! stamp sets. The first is Window Shopping (retired) and the second is Vertical Garden (retired), this one has the cool Hello with the shadow, love it. the little flowers are from a misc. old set. Colors are obvious, but it's fun to pop them off of the white with the black. Throwing this into the MFT Color Challenge mix....

You called for a wake up hello?

A Bright Hello

Working with the bright color scheme of the MFT Color Challenge. I decided to put it to use on a floral scheme. Usually I would pick a totally different pallet. Soft or royal colors.  This is striking and super happy, I like it. It's a fun entry to the challenge.

Bring on the color,

Tickled Pink We're Friends

This card was inspired by the new color challenge over at MFT. They are pretty darn bold colors and the first thing that came to mind was flamingos. I was able to incorporate all four colors in one area pretty succinctly and even add black to ground it all. It's a little busy for me, but it's fun to look at. I stretched myself by using and oval, it fits the purpose well here. The set is called Flamingle by SugarPea Designs.

Let's flamingle,

Cookies and Milk

Oh man, now I'm craving some hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk.  Not these two though, they have faces. lol. This stamp set from Lil' Inker is darling it's called Perfect Pairs 2. Super fun to color with Copics. I added the balloon from another set, not sure which one, sorry. But I thought it would be fun and add to the birthday theme. I'll be adding this card to the MFT Birthday Project.

I'd celebrate some milk and cookies right now,
Alicia

Just Saying Hello, Berry Card

Another go at the MFT Sketch Challenge.... now I am just doing it for fun as ideas are coming to me. Isn't this stamp set glorious? It's meant for Christmas and to use red berries. I adore it with the blue berries and using it in a non-traditional way. You can see the two semi-circles on either side and the center circle with the greeting. The stamp set is from Altenew and called Bountiful Branch. It takes a little effort, just like all their sets, but worth it. Here's the sketch for reference.

You are My World

I was surprised at how cool this set worked out to be, the layers were a bit confusing at first. Once I figured the out it went together pretty smoothly. Next I'll put it together with the stand. I think it's a perfect fit for the current challenge over at MFT, the Sketch Challenge. Today I used Altenew's Big World stamp set for the entire card. Here's the sketch...

World peas,
Alicia
